Texas China Trade Mission

This
high profile delegation featuring governent officials
from Texas State Government and Texas Economic Department
and a dozen Texas-based industry leaders will make this
historical visit to four major cities in China. Missions
highlights include
meeting Chinese state and city government officials and
major industry leaders, in addition to attending the 5th
Annual International High Tech Week and A Fortune 500
Forum in Beijing.

Annual International High Tech Week
Over 800,000 people from home and abroad
flocked to the 4th session last year. Over 800 contracts
were signed during this event in 2001, involving a total
volume of business of US$ 7.9 billion, an increase of
31.52 percent over that of the 3rd session in 2000. Delegation
members will have business meetings, and exhibitors will
have the opportunity to promote their products to at least
2,000 companies from 45 provinces, autonomous regions,
and municipalities directly under the central government
in China.
